March 8th, International Women’s Day, celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women around the world, but this day can really have a different meaning for everyone.
So, to celebrate International Women’s Day this year, we decided to ask some of our staff members, both male and female, what the day meant to them, and we are happy to say, the responses didn’t disappoint!
Here’s what they had to say:
Steph, our Client Services Team Leader, said: “Every woman’s success should be an inspiration to another. We are strongest when we cheer each other on.
“I feel so lucky to be surrounded by some truly inspirational women every single day. They keep me on my toes and always push me to be the best version of myself.”
Liam, our Graphic Designer, said: “I was raised to see women as equals, so it came as a shock to me to hear the hardships women have to face, especially from my mother, who is such a strong character.
“I think this day reminds women that they are strong, capable and that the glass ceiling is their floor.”
Sarah, our Office Director, said: “For me, it’s telling Hollie, my daughter, that no matter what, there really is no limit to what we as women can achieve.”
Steve, our Sales & Marketing Manager, said: “As a husband and a father to both a son and a daughter, for me, the most important thing is that they both get the same opportunities in life.”
