F.Hinds Launch New Careers Website
F.Hinds have recently launched their new careers website with support from recruitment software and website specialist, Recruitive.
Hinds is the UK’s largest independent family jeweller and they have been managed by the same family for over 165 years, priding themselves on their humility, care, and wholeheartedness. They offer an extensive selection of diamonds, gold and silver jewellery, watches, clocks, collectibles, and gifts through over 100 branches across the UK.
They have been a client of Recruitive’s for several years now, using our multi-job posting software and a straightforward candidate management system to manage their recruitment for all 100 branches.
In late 2021, following discussions with the client services department about an expansion of their business, the F.Hinds team was shown Recruitive’s new ATS and careers website system. After being extremely impressed by the system’s capabilities and functionality and following further meetings, they decided to upgrade their whole recruitment system to utilise Recruitive’s ATS, which included the design of their new careers website.
The key focus of this upgrade was their careers website. The new website allows them to promote their family values and their company ethos and manage the candidate journey from the jobs board into their ATS. The new ATS includes an automated multi-job posting system, interview management via Zoom, full onboarding management, and a website content management system.
All 100 branches can access the system, where jobs can be requisitioned and applications diverted back to each branch manager. Overall, they were so confident in Recruitive’s ability to deliver and support a new system and great careers website that they were happy to enter a long-term contract.
Graphic Designer, Liam, and Design Architect, Alan said; “The inspiration for the design was led by the requested elements like a video, options to show jobs for the two brands that they operate and create a more modern informative careers site. We also reviewed other competitors’ sites in the same industry as well as other high street brands to see how they were promoting their careers.”
“The design consultation for the original ideas took 3-5 days to complete, the designs show various pages for the new site as well as a mobile view.”
“We use Adobe XD to mock up our website designs, as it allows us to show some of the final functionality of the website in real-time. It also allows the client to highlight and comment on specific areas if they’re happy or want something altered.”
